Role of Inflammation in Cancer
Inflammation is associated with the development of cancer. It certainly is a critical event in cancer development. Scientific American reported, “Understanding chronic inflammation, which contributes to heart disease, Alzheimer's and a variety of other ailments, may be a key to unlocking the mysteries of cancer”.
We already know that inflammation is the root of the pain and most illnesses like diabetes and heart disease. Still, we are just beginning to pay attention to the significant and centralized role that inflammation plays in cancer development and sustainment.
